A little wiser, every day
Bible trivia with something to learn from every answer.
Bible Quest is a free browser game with 1,320 original questions across 66 Bible books, from Genesis to Revelation. Each question has four choices, a short explanation and a Bible reference.
Play Bible QuestHow to play
- Choose Play, then pick your difficulty, round length and pace.
- Select one of four answers. Read the explanation and scripture reference after each question.
- Continue to the end of the round to see your score.
You can play 5, 10 or 20 questions, with or without a timer. For timed solo rounds, choose 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 seconds per question. Choose a particular book or explore people, places, events, books and teachings.
A fresh daily challenge
The Daily Ten offers the same ten questions to everyone each day, without a timer. It resets at midnight UTC. Solo play also tracks your book progress and lets you practice questions you missed.
Play with a group
Host a live room and share its code, or join a room from your own phone. Groups support 2–20 players online, with each player using their own phone, tablet or computer. Before creating a room, the host can choose 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 seconds per question for everyone. Your nickname, answers and score are stored for the room and shared with its players. Rooms expire after two hours; expired room data is deleted during later server activity.
Where the questions come from
The questions are original paraphrases checked against the public-domain World English Bible Classic. Each of the 66 books has twenty questions. This is a selection of passages, rather than coverage of every chapter or verse.
Free, installable and ready for a quick round
Play in a JavaScript-enabled browser, or find installation help in Settings. Solo play works offline once the app confirms offline setup is complete. You can always play as a guest: guest scores and progress stay in this browser. Clearing browser data removes that local history.
An optional account lets you save solo progress across devices. Creating an account, signing in and syncing need an internet connection. Account changes queued on this device can wait for a connection; check the save status before clearing browser data.

Progress and privacy
Optional accounts
Sign-in uses email and password through Neon Auth. Email addresses are unverified at sign-up; no verification code is required. Use an email you own and keep your password safe. Password recovery is not available yet, so losing your password may mean losing access to saved progress.
When you play while signed in, Bible Quest saves question attempts, correct and missed-question progress, and daily results in the game's Neon backend. Your account's first saved daily result for each UTC date is kept. Guest history stays separate unless you choose “Save this device’s guest progress.” That copies your guest history into the account and leaves the local copy in place.
Account progress and the records used to prevent duplicate saves do not currently expire automatically. There is no in-app account-deletion tool. Signing out does not delete cloud progress or queued changes on this device. Clearing browser data removes guest history and unsynced changes, but does not delete progress already saved to your account.
Activity counts
To understand overall use, Bible Quest sends visit and game-activity events to the owner's Dru Analytics service. Random identifiers last only for the open page. The app does not link these events to your account identity or send your email, password, account identifier, nickname, room code, answers or book choices in them. Analytics is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or enables Global Privacy Control.
Like other web requests, analytics requests expose ordinary technical connection information to the receiving service. Account progress is stored separately from these activity counts.
